Stronghold

Stronghold is a super-maximum fortress-prison designed not only to contain superpowered villains and wielders of super-technology, but also to defend against attempts by their allies to release them. The super-prison is located in Nevada, set into a mesa in the desert. The mesa is 100 meters tall, and approximately 100 meters across. The mesa isolated, located kilometers from the nearest civilization. The harsh desert surroundings isolate Stronghold from the casual visitor, and the top of the mesa is only accessible by flight. The flat top of the mesa was converted by the Army Corps of Engineers into a VSTOL aircraft landing field.

Stronghold personel consists of the warden, his assistants, the guards, scientists and technicians. There are five levels as well as a "death row" level. Stronghold has the most advanced available technology to defend itself from internal and external attack and to safeguard its prisoners.
