Dante Sykes.

A masked vigilante in Millenium City. Some considered him a dedicated—if brutal—crimefighter, while others regarded him as a psychopathic menace. He was also known as “The Strangler” by many because his preferred method for dispatching those he believed to be criminals was to strangle them to death with a garrote or his bare hands.

He was killed by members of the Russian Mafia in the employ of the Syndicate in retaliation for the murder of Piotr Agron, a mob captain.

One of his notebooks, detailing his investigations of the Syndicate, is in the possession of the hero Feral Cat.
