Fury

Background / History

Angela Jackson, a NYC homocide detective, was selected by Tisiphone, an ancient spirit who punishes the crimes of murder, to be her avatar/incarnation on AltEarth.

Fury began her association with Harbinger when they both began following the trail of the same killer. Impressed by her single-minded quest for vengeance and her formidable combat abilities, Harbinger maintained contact with the superheroine for several years. Occasionally, Harbinger even called on Fury for help when stalking a particularly powerful criminal (e.g., a supervillain) or organization. She was the first member recruited to join the Punishers.

Powers / Abilities

Fury is a fierce hand to hand combatant with razor sharp claws and teeth. She appears to feel no pain, regenerates wounds, and attacks her targets relentlessly. Her wings provide her with the ability to fly and it appears that she possess enhanced senses of mystical origin.

Appearance

In her Fury form, Jackson has a terrible beauty. She has skin the color of redclay and is covered by something between fur and feathers that shift and quiver with her mood as is moved by an unseen breeze. Her eyes are pupilless and jet-black and her lavendar lips conceal a pair of razor-sharp fangs. Her hands and feet end in curved black talons. She has a pair of wings which allow her to fly; when folded, these meld seamlessly into the rest of her fur/feathers.
