Background/History:

Miranda Foster is the older sister of Katherine Foster, better known as Redeemer of the Champions.

Little is known about Dementia's background. Her mental powers developed more slowly than that of her sister, although both received training in the use of their psychic abilities at Ravenswood Academy. Dementia was eventually expelled from the school after numerous breaches of the disciplinary policy.

She experienced some great loss in her life, through which she developed the abilitiy to relieve the pain of others by taking it on herself.

She is something of a reluctant hero and still unsure of herself and her powers which, admittedly, do not always function reliably. Recently she has also sought to pursue a career in print journalism.

Powers/Abilities

Dementia is a powerful telekinetic and mentalist, though her powers sometimes fail her. She can inflict and relieve pain, as well as scan, probe, and control human minds. She uses her telekinesis to fly and to protect herself by means of a telekinetic force field (the fact that she does not need to walk and needs no armor to protect her explains her seeminly impractical, if fashionable costume). In at least one instance, in a battle with the Outlaws, she has demonstrated the ability to dish out considerable damage with a telekinetic punch.
