Other Guidelines
- Most characters should be built on a total of 300 pts (185 Base Points + 115 Points from Disadvantages).
- An attack that has a significantly limited use (e.g., can only be used once per day, requires a difficult activation roll, exhausts the character using it, etc.) may exceed the max starting attack by 10 pts, for a maximum of 80 active points.
Signature Powers
- Signature Power: Each character may have one signature power or attack that exceeds the active point maximum by 15 pts., for a maximum of 85 active points (17 DC). No two characters may choose the same signature power, even if the special effects are different. (One Hand Killing Attack may be a set of adamantite claws and another may be a vampire bite, but only one of these characters will be allowed to invest 85 active points in Hand Killing Attack). Players may need to consult with one another or with the GM if more than one player wants the same signature power.
- EX: One of our players develops a speedster character who can run at incredible speeds. She decides to make running her signature power and invests 85 active points in that power. Any other character in the group may purchase up to 70 active points of running, but no more.
